This week's episode is part 1 of a 2 part series addressing the changes in facility audits around regulations regarding diagnoses of schizophrenia in patients who have dementia. Dr Will Sampson, Director of Training and Clinical Education is the host for this series.

In Part 1 Dr. Sampson will discuss the background of the changes in facility regulations and the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder and how those are distinct from symptoms of advanced dementia.
